#Destinymoments
I’ve come to learn that perspective in life is everything…seeing things from God’s perspective will determine whether or not you become, and in becoming, get to your purpose and destiny and everything God determined for your life. Often times, things are not always as they seem and you need to be inquisitive and humble enough to seek God’s perspective in each situation which will then determine how you act in that moment, and even when you miss it, acknowledging God’s perspective allows you to get back on track.
Perspective from God’s view is so important that it determines whether or not you get to your ultimate destination here on earth. Taking the example of Job, there were different perspectives about His situation, his friends said he had sinned, his wife told him to curse God and just die, the enemy meant for him to give up on God but from God’s perspective, He allowed it because he was proud of him and said no one on earth was like him and allowed the enemy to touch his life and all he had to prove that point. If he had believed what everyone around him was saying about his situation he would have missed it with God. In fact, God was angry with Job and his friends for ‘speaking out of turn’ when He said “who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge” (Job 38:2).
In another example in Hebrews 4 the writer talks about how the first generation from Egypt did not enter His rest (the promised land) because of the perspective they took on, which was the opposite of what God had said. Numbers ch 13 and 14 gives the account of the 12 spies and how they came back with a bad report except for Joshua and Caleb and because of that, the people believed wrongly and God was angry with them and promised they would not enter the promised land (even though in that very moment, they were spying out the land so they can enter) and they all ended up turning back south even though their initial destination was north and dying in the desert except, for Joshua and Caleb.
Often times, we reject and run away from the very process that will get us to our next level by not seeing things right especially when it’s against popular thought.
But ultimately your life is your own, and your choices to a large extent determine what exactly of God’s plans will come to pass, so in this year choose to see things as God sees them and in aligning yourself the right way you will allow His power to work on your behalf…to obtain what “no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor mind perceived…”
